Jennifer Carter is a 25+ year veteran of Columbia SC real estate. Licensed in SC, she specializes in the Greater Columbia, SC area of South Carolina including Downtown Columbia, SC; West Columbia, SC; Northeast Columbia, SC; Lexington, SC; Irmo, SC; and Chapin, SC. Jennifer is known for her extensive knowledge of all types of property in all locations. Jennifer is married to fellow real estate broker, Tommy Carter. Tommy is Sales Manager and Broker-in-Charge of the Metro Office of Russell & Jeffcoat.

Jennifer has personally marketed homes for several local builders and has marketed and sold both new and re-sale homes in the Irmo, Lexington, Cayce, West Columbia, Northeast, and in-town areas of Columbia, SC. She was the exclusive marketing agent for the popular Governor's Hill in-town neighborhood, which became a sell-out after she took over the marketing.

Prior to entering real estate, Jennifer and her husband were the founding owners of a magazine publishing company. Jennifer served as Senior Editor for both Greenville Magazine and Columbia Review. She was an advisor to the company's sister magazine in Columbus, GA, Columbus Magazine. In addition to magazines, the company published craft books, cook books, and other ancillary publications, including programs for Freedom Weekend Aloft in Greenville, SC; the Southern Open Golf Tournament in Columbus, GA; and the Greenville, SC Chamber of Commerce annual meeting. Jennifer currently serves as Editor and staff writer for Columbia Home & Garden magazine in Columbia, SC.
